Awesome show of applications this time guys, I mean it was really difficult, and I feel we made the best choices.

This is the final staff shuffle for a long time hopefully, we may tweak it one more little bit before the weekend! We advertised for 2 assistants, so there will be 1 more.

Fam was relieved of his duties, only because of inactivity, he was loved by the people, and will be missed.

As you can see there are some changes taking place around here lately, with that a couple of staff positions have become available.
We are currently taking applications for the following positions:

2- Assistants

Okay, not been any announcements for a while. BuskerWars has now been open to the public for over a year, hurray, and as Hrm pointed out, that means it is no longer a new game.

Still, Ed and I are working to make improvements to the game daily. Following a massive staff reshuffle the following changes have been made to BW management:

Ed demoted from Chief Head Executive of Finance and Security
Oli demoted from Webdesigner Extraordinaire
Ed promoted to Webdesigner Extraordinaire
Oli promoted to Chief Head Executive of Finance and Security

So now, Ed is the coding guy, and I'm the advertising guy. Or maybe we're multis, you guys will never really know.

PS oh yeah I'll be 'pushing volume' next week, so signups will drastically increase

You may have noticed this ongoing project, as I redo all of the preferences page, to make it look nicer, be more useful and load faster

Today I did some work on the image uploader. It now uses the magic of AJAX to make uploading pictures better for you, and prevent dead links.

Have redesigned the mail system and added AJAX functionality to make pages load faster. Have also changed the mailing link on user profiles to make it compatible.

Okay guys, over the next few days (hopefully) I will be rewriting basically the whole game. I have however made a backup of all the files and will be doing all this editing offline. When I'm done, I will delete everything and add the new files.

I might need to close one of the sites (probably buskerwars.net) to players temporarily, and use it as a beta testing server. After that, one day you should just magically see all the sites looking different and hopefully running much better

(But don't expect any changes for a few days, at least)

Has changed! I coded it! Although oli had to fix my elifs to elseifs (python4lyf4lyf) and I forget to slash my apostrophes (parse errors4lyf4lyf) but it's alive and in the game!

Due to halfeh resigning as staff, we have an opening. The opening is for a job as an assistant, not a police officer.

Applications should be posted on the confidential board. Your application can be anything you feel will help your case to become a staff member.

Yes, it's true - another revision of the point offers!

Following up on the feedback from last time, I'm making my own solution by tracking down lots of offers from everywhere and putting them together in one place. There's a few hundred there at the moment () and I will be adding more offers, for more countries, all the time.

If your country is not there with the other flags, tell me about it and I will get some offers Also don't worry Portuguese guys, I am getting more offers daily so there won't be 3 there for long

Finally, I've kind of messed up the mouseover text on the flags (don't speak Italian ) so correct me if you speak those languages.

AJAX everywhere

I probably don't need to make so many topics about game development today, but I keep getting sidetracked and adding lots of things so it's all good

I will be AJAXifying pretty much everywhere it's useful, and I'll post here once something has changed to you can be amazed at how it's slightly improved your overall playing experience.

Gangs v3

It's mostly AJAX, to make everything load faster and generally look fancier

The scheduled updates (i.e. important things) are gang battle logs and gang forums, both of which should be straightforward now that I've done normal battle logs and normal forums

Furthermore, gang garages will be implemented very similar to gang armories.

Hi all

I'm testing out a new point offer system run by an external company called Super Rewards. It's all set up, and I've tried it to make sure it works - I got 12 points

After completing the survey or whatever, it can be as little as 15 minutes before you are auto-credited, and there is a support system for if you don't get what you're expecting.

You can get to the page, by clicking the '+' next to the amount of points you have, then clicking the point offers link.

Depending on the feedback I get from you guys this will either be a permanent thing or I will try some other point offer system. Thanks, and happy earning
